Favorite Things

It's been a while but I thought I would give two new "Favorite Things"...

My pink Kitchen Aid mixer. It is amazing! I know they can be pricey but I have to say it is worth every penny. I can make cakes, brownies, etc. super fast and easy with this. They also have several different attachments so it can "transform" itself into several other appliances. I want to look into the pasta maker one and the grinder one. I have always thought it would be fun to make my own pasta... weird I know but hey sounds cool. And then my husband hunts so it would really come in handy to have our own grinder. No need to buy some big machine if I can just buy a small attachment, right? ;) Thanks Santa for this wonderful gift a few years back!! LOVE IT!!

These little banana smoothie mixes are yummy! You can find them in the produce section of your grocery store. Or at least I always see them at ours in GA. They are about .79 cents each. Just add bananas, milk, ice and a packet... viola a smoothie. I like to make them on days where we are all working outside a lot. It's like a little treat. Little man is obsessed. I need to look into what is actually in the packet, would be great if there was any health benefit instead of being fattening. Anyone ever try these?

  1. These are two of my favorite things as well! The Kitchen Aid mixer is a staple in our home as well and has helped make dozens upon dozens of sugar cookies for many bake sales!lol I also recently came across the smoothie mixes at the supermarket-in strawberry and banana. They are super delicious and my two year old loves the shakes! We add all different kinds of fruit to liven it up...maybe I should sneak some veggies in there!lol

Kozy Shack Indulgent Pudding Giveaway

I am so excited to do my first giveaway since coming back to blogging. I had the opportunity to get a free pack of KozyShack Indulgent Pudding from BzzAgent. I had heard of KozyShack before but I had never tried them. They recently came out with a new line called "Indulgent Recipe". I generally like pudding so figured I would give it  try. When I got to Target I noticed they had chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. I am a huge sucker for fall flavors so of course I went with the salted caramel. Speaking of, have you tried the new Greek yogurt that is salted caramel flavor? Its to die for! Love it! I enjoyed that one so much so I got the same flavor in pudding. Look how yummy it looks. When I got home I quickly tried it. I mean it looked so good, I just didn't want to wait. My first thought when opening the package was the pudding looks thick. Surely there was an air bubble in there right? Nope. Just really thick pudding. Right then I knew I wouldn't be a frequ

Giveaway: Ruffles with Love

I had an opportunity to interview Vanessa Hodge with Ruffles With Love. Love her shirts. If you haven't checked her Etsy store out, you should do so! 1. How did you come up with Ruffles with Love? The actual name Ruffles with Love my fiance came up with when we were brainstorming names one night! I love ruffles and anything girly so he just ran with it and thats how we got the name! The actual idea to do workout shirts came from me needing to be getting in shape for my November wedding and needing cute shirts to motivate me! I absolutely LOVE bows and could never find anything with bows to go running in, I am to old to wear them in my hair so I had to incorporate them somewhere :) 2. How long have you been in business? I have been in business since January of this year. 3. Which shirt is your favorite? I have a couple lol, Break a Sweat is my number 1 favorite and Sweating for the Dress 4. Why? Break a Sweat was the first shirt I ever made and sold so it will always be m
